Holiday Updates
On behalf of the Board of Directors at Green Hill Therapy, thank you for a great 2017! I want to ask for your continued help to make the lives of children with special needs even brighter by giving to our year-end campaign.
This year, we provided 5,600 hours of therapy to children with special needs and helped more than 210 children in our Kentuckiana region. We are challenged to raise $84 for each of these therapy sessions and, with your help, we can get to our $470,000 goal this year.
As an owner of a Green Hill therapy horse, Cody Ko, my involvement here is very personal. Several times a week, I come to Green Hill to see my beloved Cody Ko and licensed therapists provide proven, playful therapy and change lives. Here are a few of our accomplishments this past year:
- Grew our reach to those we serve by 10% over 2016!
- Supported the training of 5 Green Hill Therapy therapists to receive professional curriculum through the American Hippotherapy Association. The result is professionally trained, expert therapists who can better use the movement of the horse to help kids.
- Improved our facilities by partnering with GE Appliances to host a three-day facilities make-over at that included building a respite area for staff and families and overall land and capital improvements. In 2018, we will finish our office and clinic expansion so stay tuned for more updates on how we are improving our campus to better serve children.
At the core of these accomplishments are the children and families we serve, the hard fought milestones we help them achieve and the hope we give families that their children will continue to reach their goals! Your gift will go directly to support these goals through scholarships for therapy. Thank you for your consideration and Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Elizabeth McCall
