After the unprecedented success of our community coming together to raise $4.6 million in 24 hours during the online giving day last September, the Community Foundation of Louisville is excited by the potential for our compassionate community to raise even more on our 5th giving day. Your support and engagement helps not only the individual organizations and their unique missions, but helps to create a stronger community where people and place thrive. Green Hill hopes to raise over $9,000 during this online giving day!
Mark your calendar for #GiveForGoodLou on September 12, 2019. Let’s make the biggest day of local giving even better in 2019!

Event: 11th Annual Hoedown on the Hill!
Date: September 28th, 2019 6-9pm
We partner with you at our annual event to ensure all children are able to recieve our unique and effective hippotherapy and aquatherapy programming, regardless of their ability to pay. This year, our goal is to raise $125,000 to support life-changing scholarships for therapy at Green Hill.
We are seeking to raise money to support 1,488 hours of therapy at Green Hill. Every $84 donated supports one-hour of therapy. Our cost to provide therapy reaches nearly $160.00 per hour and we are paid back a portion of this through health insurance. Therefore, we must make up that gap at our Hoedown on the HIll to keep providing therapy with HORSE POWER!
In addition to nearly a hundred items donated by our local community businesses, we will have an expansive silent auction including the “Green Hill Boutique” specialized “kid art” (the BEST art as far as we are concerned) of projects made in collaboration with our patients and their very talented occupational and physical therapists.
Grab your hats and boots, partner! It’s time for one of Louisville’s most unique fundraisers at our Hoedown on the Hill! See you September 28th. And seriously, jeans, boots, cowboy hats are encouraged!
